Fireplace Insert with Cast Iron Door Prity CM – 13.5 kW

The Same Cast Iron Construction. A More Compact Footprint.

The Prity CM is the smaller sibling of the Prity C, carrying the same cast iron door construction into a more compact body suited to smaller rooms or tighter installation spaces. Cast iron absorbs heat gradually during combustion and releases it back slowly, so the front of the insert keeps radiating warmth into the room well after the flames have settled.

With 13.5 kW of radiant heat and class A energy efficiency, the Prity CM delivers dependable heating performance without the larger footprint of its bigger siblings.

Made in Bulgaria. EU Ecodesign compliant.

How Much Space Can It Heat?

Prity doesn't publish an official heated-area figure for the Prity CM, so this is our own estimate, based on the heated-area-to-power ratio observed across comparable Prity models in our range (roughly 7.5 m² per kW). At 13.5 kW, that puts the Prity CM at approximately 100 m², depending on insulation, ceiling height, and room layout.

Cast Iron: the Material That Outlasts Everything Else

The Prity CM's door is cast iron — the same dense, heavy material used in the best stoves for generations, chosen because it absorbs heat progressively during combustion and releases it back slowly rather than cooling the moment the flames die down. A ceramic glass panel set into the door keeps the fire visible at all times, kept clear by the secondary air wash system that runs fresh air across the inner surface during burning.

A Compact Body for Smaller Spaces

At 580 × 500 mm, the Prity CM has a noticeably smaller footprint than the standard Prity C, making it a practical choice for smaller rooms, tighter chimney breasts, or installations where a full-size insert simply won't fit. The firebox still measures a respectable 474 × 366 × 311 mm, keeping decent log capacity within the smaller frame.

Clean Combustion, Class A Efficiency

The Prity CM achieves a combustion efficiency (η) of 77.7% and a seasonal space heating energy efficiency of 69%, with an energy efficiency index of 104 — placing it in energy class A. Emissions at nominal output are controlled across the board: CO at 1229 mg/Nm³, particulate matter at just 24 mg/Nm³, NOx at 90 mg/Nm³, and OGC at 12 mg/Nm³ — all within EU Ecodesign limits.

Fuel consumption at nominal output is 4.2 kg of dry wood per hour, with a flue gas temperature of 290°C and a mass flow rate of 9.5 g/s.

Important Installation Note

The Prity CM uses a Ø150 mm flue outlet — narrower than most of our other cast iron inserts — and requires a minimum chimney draught of 12.8 Pa. Please confirm your chimney connection is compatible with this diameter before ordering. At 87 kg, it's also one of the lighter inserts in the cast iron range, which can simplify installation in tighter spaces.

Overall dimensions: 580 × 500 × 720 mm (W × D × H).
