Fire on Three Sides

The Prity 3C takes the panoramic idea further than most: glazed on the front and both sides at once, it gives an almost uninterrupted view of the fire from nearly anywhere in the room. With 16 kW of radiant output and an A+ energy efficiency rating, it delivers the same serious heating capacity as our other high-output inserts, just with a dramatically more open view of the flame.

How Much Space Can It Heat?

Prity doesn't publish an official heated-area figure for the 3C, so this is our own estimate, based on the heating-area-to-output ratio across comparable Prity models in our range (roughly 7.5 m² per kW). At 16 kW, that puts the 3C at approximately 120 m², depending on insulation, ceiling height, and room layout.

Glass on Three Sides: An Open View of the Fire

Where most inserts show the fire through a single front pane, the 3C adds full glazing on both sides as well, turning the firebox into something closer to a glass box than a conventional window. It suits open, freestanding-style installations — a peninsula, an island hearth, or any placement where the insert isn't pushed flush against a wall on both sides — letting the fire read as a feature from multiple angles in the room rather than a single fixed view.

Clean Combustion, A+ Efficiency

The 3C reaches a combustion efficiency (η) of 81.1% and a seasonal space heating energy efficiency of 72%, with an energy efficiency index of 109 — placing it in energy class A+. Emissions at nominal output: CO at 1,053 mg/Nm³, particulate matter at 26 mg/Nm³, NOx at 93 mg/Nm³, and OGC at 29 mg/Nm³ — all within EU Ecodesign limits.

Fuel consumption at nominal power is 4.9 kg of dry wood per hour, with a flue gas temperature of 223°C and a mass flow of 12 g/s.

A Wide, Shallow Firebox

The 3C's firebox measures 660 mm wide, 595 mm deep, and 350 mm tall — considerably wider than our single-front inserts, built to make full use of the three-sided glazing and keep the fire visible across the full width of the opening.

Important Installation Note

The 3C uses a Ø200 mm flue outlet and requires a minimum chimney draught of 13.6 Pa. Please confirm your chimney connection is compatible with this diameter before ordering. Because the firebox is glazed on three sides, installation requires careful planning of the surrounding structure and hearth on all exposed faces — professional installation is strongly recommended. At 132 kg, the unit also needs a floor and framing capable of supporting the weight. Overall footprint: 770 × 590 × 720 mm (W × D × H).
