Prity WD W29 D Wood-Burning Boiler Stove – 9.4 kW + 29 kW Water

The Most Powerful Boiler Stove in the WD Range. Built for Large Homes.

When the WD W24 D isn't enough, the Prity WD W29 D is the answer. With 29 kW of maximum water output and a 44-litre integrated tank — the largest in the WD boiler series — this is a central heating appliance built for large family homes, farmhouses, and properties with substantial radiator systems. At nominal output the combined heating capacity reaches approximately 242 m²; at peak, up to approximately 295 m².

The 9.4 kW of radiant heat keeps the room where the stove stands warm and inviting, while the water circuit does the heavy work — feeding radiators throughout the house from a single wood fire.

How Much Space Can It Heat?

At nominal output, the WD W29 D delivers a combined 31.5 kW (9.4 kW radiant + 22.1 kW water), suitable for heating spaces of up to approximately 242 m² — easily covering a large family home or a property with multiple heating zones. At peak output the combined figure reaches 38.4 kW, with a theoretical heating capacity of approximately 295 m². As with all boiler stoves, the nominal figure is the one to plan around — it reflects continuous, sustained output at rated conditions.

More Water. More Tank. More House.

Compared to the WD W24 D, the WD W29 D steps up on every boiler metric: water output increases from 24 kW to 29 kW maximum, tank volume grows from 31 to 44 litres, and combined nominal output rises from 24.3 kW to 31.5 kW. The larger tank means greater thermal buffering — the heating circuit stays warmer for longer between loads, and the temperature in radiators remains steadier as the fire naturally cycles.

At 10.1 kg/h fuel consumption at rated output, this stove demands a good wood supply — but for a home that would otherwise rely on oil or gas central heating through a long winter, the economics are compelling.

The 222°C flue temperature confirms that the water jacket is doing its job: extracting the majority of combustion energy before it leaves the chimney. What remains in the room via the 9.4 kW radiant panel is enough to make the space where the stove sits genuinely comfortable.

EU Ecodesign Compliant. Certified to EN 13240.

The WD W29 D carries an Energy Efficiency Class A rating and a seasonal efficiency (ηs) of 69%, meeting the EU Ecodesign Regulation 2015/1185 requirements for sale and installation across all primary EU markets. Emissions are within European limits: PM at 31 mg/Nm³ and CO at 1,238 mg/Nm³.

30 Years of European Engineering Behind Every Weld

Prity has been manufacturing wood-burning stoves in Gorna Oryahovitsa, Bulgaria since 1995. Every stove is manufactured to EN 13240, the European standard for solid fuel room heaters, and carries TÜV NORD certification — independent quality verification from one of Europe's most respected technical inspection authorities.

Your WD W29 D comes with a 24-month manufacturer's warranty.

Important: Installation Notes

This is a wet system boiler stove — it must be connected to a compatible central heating circuit by a qualified installer. The system must include an appropriate expansion vessel, safety valve, and pressure relief provision rated to at least 1.25 bar. Do not operate without a correctly installed water circuit.

What's in the Box

Stove body with integrated water heat exchanger, ceramic glass door, ash drawer, handle set with air control, technical manual.

Use only dry, chemically untreated natural wood or wood briquettes without adhesives. Wood moisture content must not exceed 20%. Do not burn household waste, painted wood, plywood, or impregnated timber. Installation must be carried out by a qualified heating engineer. Always consult a qualified installer before connecting to your chimney and heating system.
