The Prity G opens a new line in our insert range — a steel-fronted insert with a large ceramic glass window, built for households that want a strong, dependable fire without the added weight or cost of a cast iron door. With 16 kW of radiant heat and a wide firebox, the Prity G is one of the more powerful standard inserts in our catalogue.

How Much Space Can It Heat?

Prity doesn't publish an official heated-area figure for the Prity G, so this is our own estimate, based on the heated-area-to-power ratio observed across comparable Prity models in our range (roughly 7.5 m² per kW). At 16 kW, that puts the Prity G at approximately 120 m², depending on insulation, ceiling height, and room layout.

A Large Firebox for Serious Burns

The combustion chamber measures 535 mm wide, 490 mm deep, and 405 mm high — a genuinely large firebox that accepts longer logs and bigger loads, keeping the insert running for longer stretches between reloads. The ceramic glass door is kept clear by the secondary air wash system, which runs a continuous curtain of fresh air across the inner glass surface during burning.

Clean Combustion, Class A Efficiency

The Prity G achieves a combustion efficiency (η) of 78.3% and a seasonal space heating energy efficiency of 69%, with an energy efficiency index of 105 — placing it in energy class A. Emissions at nominal output are notably clean: CO at just 906 mg/Nm³ — among the lowest in our range — particulate matter at 27 mg/Nm³, NOx at 89 mg/Nm³, and OGC at 21 mg/Nm³ — all comfortably within EU Ecodesign limits.

Fuel consumption at nominal output is 5.1 kg of dry wood per hour, with a flue gas temperature of 200°C and a mass flow rate of 13.2 g/s.

Important Installation Note

The Prity G uses a Ø200 mm flue outlet and requires a minimum chimney draught of 12.2 Pa. Please confirm your chimney connection is compatible with this diameter before ordering. At 111 kg, the unit needs a floor and framing capable of supporting the weight.
