Fire on Three Sides

The Prity PS3 is glazed on the front and both sides at once, giving an open view of the fire from multiple angles in the room rather than a single fixed view. With 10.3 kW of radiant output and energy class A, it delivers the same output as our other PS-series inserts, just with glass on three faces instead of one.

How Much Space Can It Heat?

Prity doesn't publish an official heated-area figure for the PS3, so this is our own estimate, based on the heated-area-to-power ratio observed across comparable Prity models in our range (roughly 7.5 m² per kW). At 10.3 kW, that puts the PS3 at approximately 75 m², depending on insulation, ceiling height, and room layout.

Glass on Three Sides

Where a single-front insert shows the fire through one pane, the PS3 adds full glazing on both sides as well. It suits installations where the insert isn't pushed flush against a wall on both sides — letting the fire read as a feature from more than one direction in the room.

Clean Combustion, Class A Efficiency

The PS3 achieves a combustion efficiency (η) of 76.6% and a seasonal space heating energy efficiency of 68%, with an energy efficiency index of 102 — placing it in energy class A. Emissions at nominal output: CO at 1248 mg/Nm³, particulate matter at 24 mg/Nm³, NOx at 73 mg/Nm³, and OGC at 10 mg/Nm³ — all within EU Ecodesign limits.

Fuel consumption at nominal output is 3.3 kg of dry wood per hour, with a flue gas temperature of 257°C and a mass flow rate of 9 g/s.

Firebox

The combustion chamber measures 610 mm wide, 275 mm deep, and 315 mm high, within an overall footprint of 700 × 400 × 710 mm (W × D × H). The ceramic glass is kept clear by the secondary air wash system, which runs a continuous curtain of fresh air across the inner glass surface during burning.

Important Installation Note

The PS3 uses a Ø200 mm flue outlet and requires a minimum chimney draught of 11.9 Pa. Please confirm your chimney connection is compatible with this diameter before ordering. Because the firebox is glazed on three sides, installation requires careful planning of the surrounding structure and hearth on all exposed faces — professional installation is strongly recommended. At 84 kg, the unit needs a floor and framing capable of supporting the weight.
