Prity K2 GT Wood-Burning Stove – 8.1 kW

The Stove That Earns Its Place in the Room. Not Just the Corner.

Most wood stoves disappear against a wall. The Prity K2 GT does the opposite — a tall, clean-lined design with a large portrait-format glass door and colour-matched side panels that make it as much a visual statement as a heating appliance. Available in classic black, deep burgundy, or ivory, it's built to complement a room rather than simply occupy it.

Behind the design is a serious heating machine: 8.1 kW of radiant output, 80.4% efficiency, and an EU Energy Efficiency Class A+ rating — the highest available under EU Ecodesign regulation. It is suitable for heating spaces of up to approximately 62 m², depending on insulation, ceiling height, and room layout.

How Much Space Can It Heat?

The K2 GT delivers 8.1 kW, suitable for heating spaces of up to approximately 62 m² in well-insulated modern homes — ideal as the primary heat source for a living room, open-plan kitchen-living area, or master bedroom suite, and as effective supplementary heating for larger properties.

Convection Meets Radiation — Heat That Fills the Room

The K2 GT's side panels are louvered for a reason. While most of the stove's output comes from radiant heat through the large ceramic glass door, the louvered vents draw cool room air in at the base, warm it against the firebox, and release it from the top — creating a gentle convection current that distributes heat more evenly across the room. The fire you see through the glass is doing two jobs at once.

The firebox is lined with heat-retaining vermiculite panels that absorb intense heat during the burn and release it steadily long after the flames die down. At a fuel consumption of only 2.5 kg/h, one well-loaded firebox goes a long way.

The open log storage niche at the base keeps a ready supply of wood close at hand without cluttering the floor — a small detail that makes day-to-day use noticeably tidier.

Austria-Eligible. EU Ecodesign Class A+.

At 80.4% КПД efficiency, the K2 GT meets Austria's strict §15a efficiency requirement — making it one of the eligible models for the Austrian market alongside all other primary EU markets. Its A+ energy efficiency class with a seasonal efficiency of 71% (ηs) confirms it not only meets but exceeds the EU Ecodesign baseline.
