Fireplace Insert with Cast Iron Door Prity C – 15.8 kW

Cast Iron Up Front. Serious Power Behind It.

The Prity C pairs a cast iron door — not pressed steel, not coated sheet metal, but the same dense, heavy material used in the best stoves for generations — with one of the stronger outputs in our insert range. Cast iron absorbs heat gradually during combustion and releases it back slowly, so the front of the insert keeps radiating warmth into the room well after the flames have settled.

With 15.8 kW of radiant heat and class A+ energy efficiency, the Prity C is built for rooms that need genuine heating capacity, not just a view of the fire.

Made in Bulgaria. EU Ecodesign compliant.

How Much Space Can It Heat?

Prity doesn't publish an official heated-area figure for the Prity C, so this is our own estimate, based on the heated-area-to-power ratio observed across comparable Prity models in our range (roughly 7.5 m² per kW). At 15.8 kW, that puts the Prity C at approximately 120 m², depending on insulation, ceiling height, and room layout.

Cast Iron: the Material That Outlasts Everything Else

The Prity C's door is cast iron — a material choice that changes how the insert behaves once the fire has died down. Cast iron absorbs heat progressively during combustion and releases it back slowly, which means the front of your insert continues radiating warmth into the room long after the flames have settled. A ceramic glass panel set into the door keeps the fire visible at all times, kept clear by the secondary air wash system that runs fresh air across the inner surface during burning.

A Wide, Deep Firebox

The combustion chamber measures 535 mm wide, 465 mm deep, and 325 mm high — a generously sized firebox built to support the insert's higher output, with room for larger loads and longer burns.

Clean Combustion, A+ Efficiency

The Prity C achieves a combustion efficiency (η) of 81.1% and a seasonal space heating energy efficiency of 72%, with an energy efficiency index of 109 — placing it firmly in energy class A+. Emissions at nominal output are controlled across the board: CO at 1053 mg/Nm³, particulate matter at 26 mg/Nm³, NOx at 93 mg/Nm³, and OGC at 29 mg/Nm³ — all within EU Ecodesign limits.

Fuel consumption at nominal output is 4.6 kg of dry wood per hour, with a flue gas temperature of 223°C and a mass flow rate of 12 g/s.

Important Installation Note

The Prity C uses a Ø200 mm flue outlet and requires a minimum chimney draught of 13.6 Pa. Please confirm your chimney connection is compatible with this diameter before ordering. At 111 kg, the unit needs a floor and framing capable of supporting the weight — professional installation is strongly recommended.

Overall dimensions: 660 × 570 × 720 mm (W × D × H).
