Vertical Fireplace Insert Prity VM – 13.5 kW

Tall, Narrow, and Built for a Different Kind of Space

The Prity VM takes a different shape to the rest of our range — tall and narrow rather than wide and low, with a vertical firebox that suits chimney breasts and installation spots where width is limited but height is available. It's the same dependable steel-and-ceramic-glass construction as our other standard inserts, just built on a different frame.

With 13.5 kW of radiant heat and class A energy efficiency, the Prity VM delivers the same solid performance as our compact horizontal models, in a body that fits where they won't.

Made in Bulgaria. EU Ecodesign compliant.

How Much Space Can It Heat?

Prity doesn't publish an official heated-area figure for the Prity VM, so this is our own estimate, based on the heated-area-to-power ratio observed across comparable Prity models in our range (roughly 7.5 m² per kW). At 13.5 kW, that puts the Prity VM at approximately 100 m², depending on insulation, ceiling height, and room layout.

A Vertical Firebox with Real Flame Height

The combustion chamber measures 365 mm wide, 400 mm deep, and 470 mm high — taller than wide, which gives flames more room to rise and dance behind the glass rather than spreading low and flat. Combined with the insert's 900 mm overall height, the Prity VM reads as a tower of fire rather than a low horizontal window, a genuinely different visual character from our standard inserts. The ceramic glass door is kept clear by the secondary air wash system, which runs a continuous curtain of fresh air across the inner glass surface during burning.

A Narrow Footprint for Tighter Spaces

At just 500 mm wide, the Prity VM fits into narrower chimney breasts and tighter alcoves than most of our range, without giving up the 13.5 kW output or firebox depth that a compact insert needs to actually heat a room.

Clean Combustion, Class A Efficiency

The Prity VM achieves a combustion efficiency (η) of 77.7% and a seasonal space heating energy efficiency of 69%, with an energy efficiency index of 104 — placing it in energy class A. Emissions at nominal output are controlled across the board: CO at 1229 mg/Nm³, particulate matter at just 24 mg/Nm³, NOx at 90 mg/Nm³, and OGC at 12 mg/Nm³ — all within EU Ecodesign limits.

Fuel consumption at nominal output is 4.2 kg of dry wood per hour, with a flue gas temperature of 290°C and a mass flow rate of 9.5 g/s.

Important Installation Note

The Prity VM uses a Ø150 mm flue outlet and requires a minimum chimney draught of 12.8 Pa. Please confirm your chimney connection is compatible with this diameter before ordering. At 77 kg, it's also one of the lightest inserts in our range, which can simplify installation in tighter or taller spaces.

Overall dimensions: 500 × 520 × 900 mm (W × D × H).
