Prity WD W24 D Wood-Burning Boiler Stove – 6.1 kW + 24 kW Water

One Fire. Your Whole House, Warm.

There's a category of wood stove that doesn't just heat the room it stands in — it heats the house. The Prity WD W24 D is one of them. With 24 kW of maximum water output feeding into your existing radiator circuit, this is a serious central heating appliance disguised as a living room stove. Light it once in the morning, and radiators warm up across the house.

The 6.1 kW of radiant heat keeps the room where the stove stands genuinely comfortable, while the 18.2–24 kW water heat exchanger carries the real load — circulating through a 31-litre integrated tank and out through standard 1″ water connections to your radiator system. For homes that want to reduce or replace their dependence on gas or oil central heating, this is the practical alternative.

How Much Space Can It Heat?

At nominal output, the WD W24 D delivers a combined 24.3 kW (6.1 kW radiant + 18.2 kW water), suitable for heating spaces of up to approximately 187 m² — enough for a large family home, a farmhouse, or a property with multiple radiator zones. At peak output the combined figure reaches 30.1 kW, extending the theoretical heating capacity to approximately 231 m². In practice, the nominal figure is the one to plan around — it reflects what the stove sustains continuously at rated conditions rather than during peak burn.

Central Heating from a Wood Fire

The WD W24 D's heat output is split deliberately: a relatively modest 6.1 kW of radiant heat warms the immediate room, while the oversized water jacket extracts the bulk of the firebox's energy and delivers it to the heating circuit. At 7.9 kg/h fuel consumption at rated output, this stove runs like a boiler — because in effect, it is one.

The 31-litre water tank provides thermal buffer capacity, smoothing out the temperature swings of a wood fire into steady radiator heat. Maximum working pressure is 1.25 bar, compatible with most standard closed central heating systems. Water connections are 1″ — the same standard used by most central heating components across Europe.

A ceramic glass firebox door keeps the living flame visible in the room, and the 215°C flue temperature confirms that most of the combustion energy is being transferred to water rather than lost up the chimney. At 156 kg, this is a substantial, permanently installed appliance — not something you move once it's in position.

EU Ecodesign Compliant. Certified to EN 13240.

The WD W24 D meets the EU Ecodesign Regulation 2015/1185 requirements — EU Energy Efficiency Class A with a seasonal efficiency (ηs) of 68%, certified for sale and installation across all primary EU markets. Its emissions are clean for a high-output boiler stove: PM at just 27 mg/Nm³ and CO at 1,193 mg/Nm³ within European limits.

30 Years of European Engineering Behind Every Weld

Prity has been manufacturing wood-burning stoves in Gorna Oryahovitsa, Bulgaria since 1995. Every stove is manufactured to EN 13240, the European standard for solid fuel room heaters, and carries TÜV NORD certification — independent quality verification from one of Europe's most respected technical inspection authorities.

Your WD W24 D comes with a 24-month manufacturer's warranty.

Important: Installation Notes

This is a wet system boiler stove — it must be connected to a compatible central heating circuit by a qualified installer. The system must include an appropriate expansion vessel, safety valve, and pressure relief provision rated to at least 1.25 bar. Do not operate without a correctly installed water circuit.

What's in the Box

Stove body with integrated water heat exchanger, ceramic glass door, ash drawer, handle set with air control, technical manual.

Use only dry, chemically untreated natural wood or wood briquettes without adhesives. Wood moisture content must not exceed 20%. Do not burn household waste, painted wood, plywood, or impregnated timber. Installation must be carried out by a qualified heating engineer. Always consult a qualified installer before connecting to your chimney and heating system.
