Prity CMR E Wood-Burning Stove with Cast Iron Door – 11.6 kW

The Weight of Real Cast Iron. The Warmth of a Lifetime.

There is a reason the great stoves of the past were built from cast iron. It absorbs heat slowly and releases it even more slowly — long after the fire has died down, a cast iron door is still warm to the touch, still radiating into the room, still doing its job. The Prity CMR E brings that enduring quality into a contemporary home without compromise.

Raised on four legs in the classic retro tradition, fronted by a substantial cast iron door with ceramic glass panel, and delivering 11.6 kW of heat at 81.9% efficiency, the CMR E is the stove for the homeowner who refuses to choose between character and performance. It is heavy, it is serious, and it is built to last.

Energy Efficiency Class A+. TÜV NORD certified. Built in Bulgaria since 1995.

How Much Space Can It Heat?

The CMR E is suitable for heating spaces of up to 85 m², depending on insulation, ceiling height, and room layout. Its elevated stance and wide proportions make it a natural centrepiece for large living rooms, farmhouse kitchens, and period properties where a stove needs to hold its own against high ceilings and generous floor plans.

Cast Iron: The Material That Outlasts Everything Else

The CMR E's door is cast iron — not pressed steel, not coated plate, but the same dense, heavy material that has been used in the finest stoves and cookware for centuries. Cast iron absorbs heat gradually and holds it far longer than any other common material, which means the front of your stove continues to radiate warmth into the room even during the quieter phases of the burn cycle.

The ceramic glass panel set into the cast iron door gives you a clear view of the fire at all times — the visual pleasure of an open hearth combined with the safety and efficiency of a sealed combustion chamber. The glass stays clean thanks to the secondary air wash system, which continuously draws fresh air across the inner surface during the burn.

Raised on Legs. Built for Character.

The CMR E sits on four legs in the classic retro tradition — elevated above the floor in a stance that is immediately recognisable and distinctly purposeful. The legs create visual breathing room beneath the stove, making it feel less like an appliance and more like a piece of furniture that has earned its place in the room. Combined with the cast iron door and the wide, confident proportions of the body, the CMR E has a presence that no flat-footed stove can match.

A Generously Sized Firebox for Long, Uninterrupted Burns

The CMR E's combustion chamber measures 583 mm wide and 437 mm deep — one of the most generous fireboxes in the entire Prity range. Longer logs, larger loads, and extended burn cycles are all possible without the constant attention that smaller stoves demand. The firebox is lined with heat-retaining firebricks that absorb intense heat during combustion and release it steadily back into the room long after the flames have settled.

Triple Combustion Technology: 81.9% Efficiency

The CMR E uses Prity's triple air combustion system, delivering precise control over every stage of the burn.

Primary air ignites the fire quickly and draws the chimney to life — then closes down once combustion is stable. Secondary air sustains the main burn and washes the ceramic glass panel continuously to keep the view clear. Tertiary air fully mixes the combustion gases to extract maximum energy from every log.

The result: 81.9% efficiency — matching the best performance figures in the Prity standard range, delivered through a stove that looks like it belongs in a different century entirely.

A+ Rated. EU Certified. Ready for European Winters.

The CMR E carries an Energy Efficiency Class A+ rating and fully meets EU Ecodesign Regulation 2015/1185, making it compliant for installation and use across all EU member states. Its 71.9% seasonal heating efficiency reflects consistent real-world performance across an entire heating season.

Important Installation Note

At 127 kg, the CMR E is one of the heaviest stoves in the Prity range. Professional installation is strongly recommended — please ensure your floor can support the weight and that access routes are suitable before ordering. This model also uses a Ø150 mm flue outlet; please verify chimney compatibility before purchasing.
