How Much Space Can It Heat?

The K22 D is suitable for heating spaces of up to 85 m², depending on insulation, ceiling height, and room layout. It performs excellently as the primary heat source for large living rooms, open-plan kitchen-dining-living spaces, and generously sized rooms in older properties — and as a powerful supplementary heater in larger homes.

The K22 D's door is positioned higher on the stove body than on comparable models — a deliberate design choice that increases the effective depth of the firebox. In practical terms this means three things.

First, you can load longer logs without splitting them down to shorter lengths, saving time and effort at the woodpile. Second, the larger firebox volume allows bigger loads per cycle, meaning fewer interruptions to refuel and longer periods of unattended warmth. Third, the deeper chamber encourages a more complete burn — gases have more space to mix and combust fully before leaving the firebox, which contributes directly to the K22 D's exceptionally clean emissions profile.

The firebox is lined with heat-retaining firebricks that absorb intense heat during combustion and release it steadily back into the room long after the flames have settled. Load it well, and it will keep your space warm for hours.

With CO emissions of just 774 mg/Nm³, the K22 D produces less carbon monoxide than any other model in the Prity standard fireplace lineup — less than half the EU permitted maximum of 1,500 mg/Nm³. Triple Combustion Technology: More Heat from Every Log

The K22 D uses Prity's triple air combustion system, giving you precise control over the burn at every stage.

Primary air gets the fire started quickly and draws the chimney to life — then you close it down once combustion is stable. Secondary air sustains the main burn through the upper periphery of the combustion chamber door, simultaneously washing the heat-resistant ceramic glass to keep it clear throughout. Tertiary air completes the process, fully mixing the combustion gases to extract maximum energy from your fuel and contributing to the stove's exceptionally low CO output.

The result: 79.4% efficiency. The energy in your firewood goes into your home, not up the chimney.
