Fire on Two Sides — You Choose Which

The Prity 2C is a serious 16 kW insert with a second glazed face built in — and unlike most double-sided inserts, you choose where that second door goes. Select Back to build it into a partition wall as a true room divider, or Left Side / Right Side to open it into an adjoining space at a corner, without needing a wall running straight through the installation.

With 16 kW of radiant output and an A+ energy efficiency rating, it's built to heat generously from whichever configuration you choose — not just look good from two directions.

How Much Space Can It Heat?

Prity doesn't publish an official heated-area figure for the 2C, so this is our own estimate, based on the heating-area-to-output ratio across comparable Prity models in our range (roughly 7.5 m² per kW). At 16 kW, that puts the 2C at approximately 120 m² total, split across the two spaces it opens into — since heat radiates from both faces, expect meaningfully less coverage per individual room than a single-sided insert of the same output.

Choose Your Second Door Position

Select the configuration that matches your installation:

• Back — the second door sits directly opposite the front, for installations built into a straight partition wall between two rooms. The classic room-divider setup.

• Left Side — the second door opens at 90° to the front, suited to corner installations or spaces that turn a corner rather than running straight through.

• Right Side — the mirror of the left-side configuration, for corner installations opening the other way.

Whichever position you choose, the front face remains fully glazed and identical — only the second opening's location changes.

Clean Combustion, A+ Efficiency

The 2C reaches a combustion efficiency (η) of 81.1% and a seasonal space heating energy efficiency of 72%, with an energy efficiency index of 109 — placing it in energy class A+. Emissions at nominal output: CO at 1,053 mg/Nm³, particulate matter at 26 mg/Nm³, NOx at 93 mg/Nm³, and OGC at 29 mg/Nm³ — all within EU Ecodesign limits.

Fuel consumption at nominal power is 4.9 kg of dry wood per hour, with a flue gas temperature of 223°C and a mass flow of 12 g/s.

A Generous Firebox

The 2C's firebox measures 353 mm wide, 570 mm deep, and 360 mm tall — a deep, generous chamber built to take longer logs and larger loads without constant attention.

Important Installation Note

The 2C uses a Ø200 mm flue outlet — wider than most of our other inserts — and requires a minimum chimney draught of 13.6 Pa. Please confirm your chimney connection is compatible with this diameter before ordering. Because the firebox opens on two sides, installation requires careful planning of the surrounding structure and hearth on both faces — professional installation is strongly recommended, and your chosen door position (back, left, or right) should be confirmed before construction begins. At 130 kg, the unit also needs a floor and framing capable of supporting the weight. Its overall footprint is 660 × 700 × 690 mm (W × D × H).
