The Combustion System, Explained

This stove uses a three-stage air system for clean, efficient combustion.

① Primary air regulator feeds the base of the fire for quick lighting — close it once the fire is established. ② Secondary air regulator enters above the fire, sustaining the flame and keeping the glass clear. ③ Tertiary air regulator controls the final stage of combustion, directing air to fully burn the remaining flue gases before they exit.

④ The flue damper controls chimney draught — open when lighting or reloading, partially closed to slow the burn. ⑤ The steel reflector and ⑥ vermiculite reflector work together to direct heat back across the firebox rather than letting it escape up the chimney, with the vermiculite layer also helping retain heat after the flames die down. ⑦ Tertiary air enters the firebox at this point, completing the mix that the regulator at ③ controls.

Air Controls: Primary, Secondary, Tertiary

This stove uses three separate controls to manage combustion at each stage.

(A) Primary air — a rotating regulator at the base of the firebox. Turn it clockwise (green) to open for lighting and reloading, or counter-clockwise (red) to close once the fire is established.

(B) Secondary air — a sliding lever above the door. Slide right (green) to open and sustain the flame, or left (red) to close it, reducing airflow and slowing the burn.

(C) Tertiary air — a lever beneath the firebox. Move it toward OPEN (green) to complete combustion by mixing the remaining flue gases, or toward CLOSED (red) to reduce it.

As a general rule: open all three fully when lighting or reloading, then gradually close primary and tertiary air once the fire is established, using secondary air to maintain a steady, visible flame.

Damper Control

The damper regulates draught in the fireplace chimney. When open, it sits parallel to the flue, letting smoke and hot gases draw freely — the correct position for lighting the fire and while it's actively burning. When closed, it rotates across the flue, restricting the opening and slowing the draught.

Partially closing the damper once the fire is established can extend burn time by slowing combustion, but never close it fully while the fireplace is in use, as this can cause smoke to back up into the room.

Prity PM3L E Wood Burning Stove – 10.8 kW

Panoramic Fire. Pedestal Presence. Pure Modern Design.

The Prity PM3L E is the same exceptional stove as the PM3 E — wide panoramic front glass, three-sided fire viewing, 10.8 kW of heat, Energy Efficiency Class A+ — elevated on a clean, closed pedestal base that gives it a sculptural quality that open-base designs simply cannot match.

Where the PM3 E prioritises practicality with its integrated log storage compartment, the PM3L E prioritises form. The solid pedestal lifts the firebox to a commanding height, creates a visual break between stove and floor, and gives the whole unit the presence of a freestanding art object as much as a heating appliance. The fire floats above the room. The effect is striking.

TÜV NORD certified. Built in Bulgaria since 1995.

How Much Space Can It Heat?

The PM3L E is suitable for heating spaces of up to 80 m², depending on insulation, ceiling height, and room layout. Its wide, horizontal profile and three-sided glass make it particularly effective in large open-plan living areas, architect-designed interiors, and spaces where the stove is expected to work as hard aesthetically as it does thermally.

Panoramic Glass: The Full Width of the Fire

At 632 mm wide, the PM3L E shares the broadest firebox in the entire Prity range with its sibling the PM3 E. The front glass panel makes full use of every millimetre — a panoramic view of the fire that is closer to a window than a porthole, with tall dancing flames visible across the full width of the stove. Side windows on both flanks complete the picture, making the fire visible from three directions simultaneously and filling the room with warm, shifting light from multiple angles.

The secondary air wash system keeps all three glass surfaces clean throughout the burn without manual intervention.

A Pedestal That Elevates Everything

The closed pedestal base of the PM3L E is a deliberate design choice that changes the character of the stove entirely. Rather than the visual openness of a log storage compartment, the solid base presents a unified, monolithic silhouette — clean lines from floor to flue, no visual interruptions, no gaps. The firebox sits elevated and framed, as if displayed rather than simply installed.

For interiors where design consistency matters — where every element has been considered and clutter is the enemy — the PM3L E fits in ways that more utilitarian stoves do not.

Triple Combustion Technology: 80.4% Efficiency

The PM3L E uses Prity's triple air combustion system, giving you precise control over every stage of the burn.

Primary air ignites the fire quickly and draws the chimney to life — then closes down once combustion is stable. Secondary air sustains the main burn and simultaneously washes all three ceramic glass panels clean throughout. Tertiary air fully mixes the combustion gases to extract maximum energy from every log.

The result: 80.4% efficiency and Energy Efficiency Class A+ — outstanding performance from a stove that wears its engineering quietly beneath an impeccable exterior.

The Cleanest Burning Stove in the Prity Range

With dust emissions of just 24.6 mg/Nm³ — the lowest of any model in the Prity lineup — the PM3L E burns cleaner than stoves with significantly higher efficiency ratings. It fully meets EU Ecodesign Regulation 2015/1185, making it compliant for installation and use across all EU member states. Its 70.0% seasonal heating efficiency reflects consistent real-world performance across an entire heating season.

Important Installation Note

At 116 kg, the PM3L E requires careful planning for installation — please ensure access routes are suitable and your floor can support the weight. This model uses a Ø150 mm flue outlet; please verify chimney compatibility before ordering. Consult a qualified installer if you are unsure.

30 Years of European Engineering Behind Every Weld

Prity has been manufacturing solid fuel heating appliances in Gorna Oryahovitsa, Bulgaria since 1995. With over 250 production workers and a product range refined over three decades, they build stoves that earn their place in a home for many years. Every unit is manufactured to BDS EN 13240 and independently verified by TÜV NORD.

Your PM3L E comes with a 24-month manufacturer's warranty.
