At 86.1% efficiency, it is also the most efficient wood-burning stove in the Prity range by a considerable margin — meaning more of every log you load ends up as useful heat, and less disappears up the chimney. How Much Space Can It Heat?

The FGR D is suitable for heating spaces of up to 105 m², depending on insulation, ceiling height, and room layout. It is an outstanding primary heat source for large open-plan living areas, farmhouse kitchens, and substantial rooms in older properties — and a commanding supplementary heater for larger homes.

86.1% Efficiency: The Best in the Prity Range

The FGR D's efficiency figure of 86.1% is not just the highest in the Prity standard lineup — it is exceptional by any standard in this category. To put it in context, most wood-burning stoves at this output level achieve 78–82% efficiency. The FGR D extracts significantly more heat from each log before the gases leave through the flue, which is reflected in its remarkably low flue gas temperature of just 221°C — the lowest in the range. Cooler flue gases mean more heat in your room, not your chimney.

The firebox is lined with heat-retaining firebricks that absorb and store intense heat during combustion, releasing it steadily long after the flames have settled. Combined with the high efficiency combustion system, the FGR D delivers sustained, even warmth for hours from a single well-loaded firebox.

A Built-In Oven That Means Business

The FGR D's integrated oven measures 390 mm wide, 413 mm deep, and 190 mm tall — generous enough for a roasting dish, a loaf of bread, a casserole, or a full tray of baked goods. It is heated directly by the fire below, meaning no electricity required and no preheating wait once the stove is up to temperature. A built-in thermometer lets you monitor the oven temperature at a glance, so you can time your cooking with confidence rather than guesswork.

Wood-fired oven cooking is slow, even, and deeply satisfying. The gentle, consistent heat is ideal for dishes that benefit from long, unhurried cooking — slow-roasted meats, hearty stews, artisan bread, and everything in between. Once you have cooked in a wood-fired oven, it is difficult to go back.

Triple Combustion Technology: Precision at Every Stage

The FGR D uses Prity's triple air combustion system, delivering precise control over the entire burn cycle.

Primary air ignites the fire quickly and activates chimney draw — then closes down once combustion is stable. Secondary air sustains the main burn and continuously washes the heat-resistant ceramic glass door to keep it clear. Tertiary air fully mixes the combustion gases, maximising energy extraction and contributing to the stove's outstanding 86.1% efficiency and low CO emissions of 741 mg/Nm³ — among the cleanest in the Prity range.

The FGR D carries an Energy Efficiency Class A+ rating with an EEI of 115 — the highest energy efficiency index in the Prity standard range. At 128 kg, the FGR D is the heaviest model in the Prity standard range. We strongly recommend arranging professional installation and ensuring your floor can support the weight before ordering. Its tall profile of 1,023 mm should also be considered when planning placement.

Use only dry, chemically untreated natural wood or wood briquettes without adhesives. Wood moisture content must not exceed 20%. Do not burn household waste, painted wood, plywood, or impregnated timber. Always consult a qualified installer before connecting to your chimney system.
